About "The Red Barn"

Hi, I'm Ashley //

I'm the owner and founder of The Red Barn. I have three dogs and four cats, and an amazing husband with three incredible kids who have supported me and my small business unconditionally since the day we met. We are also expecting a new bundle of joy in March!

I love being outside on our farm, driving my Jeep, riding with my hubby on his Harley and spending time with all the people I love. Country music is my favorite, I HATE STYROFOAM, just the word gives me the creeps. I talk about donuts more than I actually eat them, oh, and I used to be a television news reporter right here in the Quad Cities.

I am a country girl through and through. Growing up on a family farm in eastern Iowa, it’s really no surprise that I named my business after something connected to my roots. Every time I think of red barns or see a red barn, I always think of home; a place of comfort and happiness which is exactly what I want my customers to feel when they shop at The Red Barn.

The sunflowers in my logo also have a very special meaning that is near and dear to my heart. I could go on and on about them, but the short version is, they represent my grandma - my most favorite person who now has a front row seat as she watches me chase my dreams from Heaven.

I appreciate all your support for my small business! I couldn’t do this without you, nor would I ever want to. I am so excited to get to know y’all through The Red Barn!
